Dear readers,

Anna E. Dickinson was a famous American orator in the 1800s. In fact, she was the first woman to speak before the United States Congress. But, she had other fame as well. She was also an author, playwright, and actress. Her first novel, What Answer?, was very popular when it was published in 1868, and was endorsed by Harriet Beecher Stowe. So, this website is dedicated to the famed novel What Answer?.
