Chinese Domain Market Newsletter

It was raining this morning but we were determined to go to the park. After we arrived, we took a short walk under the canopy of the trees, and then went straight to the cozy cafe. By the time we finished our coffee, the dark clouds had been replaced by a clear blue sky and the sun was smiling again. Then I realized that when we left home we only took the umbrella but forgot the sunglasses. Isn't it similar in life? Even in the midst of trouble, am I prepared if opportunity suddenly comes knocking at the door? Here's the post.

NewG talk #8

It's the same story this week. The total number of registrations for the Top 10 new extensions continues to drop, indicating a weak NewG domain market in China. In this post, I have added a new column: China share. You can use this column to see how much an extension depends on China. In this respect, .wang and .ren are almost exclusive for Chinese buyers.

Extensions with increase in registration last week are top, wang, club, site, bid, vip, and online. Among them, .online is least dependent on China so will not be affected by China should its economy goes down. .club also looks solid with constant growth but only 55% of its domain names are located in China.
